The Basic Reference Sphere is perfect for target based point cloud registration in non-industrial areas. In particular, these target spheres can be used to improve registration quality for projects that rely heavily on cloud-to-cloud registration. The sphere can be combined with our Mini-Prism for jobs that are required to be Geo-located. The sphere comes with a magnetic base for easily affixing to ferrous surfaces, and is coated with a special wear-resistant paint that provides excellent reflectivity. Manufactured in Germany.
