BIM (Building Information Modeling) is the fastest growing area of application for 3D laser scanning. Point cloud to BIM aplications can be divided into two main areas:
-Plans of pre-existing structures generated via point cloud
-Comparing and monitoring construction plans to the newly finished buildings.

When generating a BIM model, we make it our business to sit down with a client in order to determine the specific features needed for each plan. We think its important to tailor the content of our BIM models for the needs of the designer, engineer, or contractor required to work with them. We focus on issues such as:
- Foundations, roof structures, windows, doors, openings or any other structural issue.
- Electrical, plumbing, communications, HVAC or other ventilation systems, and any other building utility asset.
- Equipment fixtures and their placement, control cabinets or booths, or other industrial considerations.
When we have finished generating the list of required elements, we will fax a quote to regarding a price and time frame for completion.
